Crown Me on the Move
This Crown Me experience invites children to explore how Black innovators transformed the way we move through the world—by land, sea, and air. Through hands-on activities, creative challenges, and immersive field trips, campers will connect transportation to freedom, confidence, and possibility.

About the event
Crown Me: On the Move is an experience celebrating Black trailblazers, inventors, and visionaries who shaped transportation and expanded access, opportunity, and imagination.
Campers will explore how people move through the world by land, sea, and air, engaging in hands-on design challenges, storytelling, and creative exploration rooted in culture and innovation.
This week includes exciting field trips to:
Petersen Automotive Museum — exploring automotive design, engineering, and innovation
Travel Town Museum — discovering trains, transit, and how movement connects communities

- Full Day Camp runs 8am-3pm - Extended Care is available until 5 pm. - Campers present for Extended Care without prior registration will be billed $25 per day.
